Acai berry powder is high in vitamin C, an antioxidant which works to fight the cell-damaging free radicals which damage and age the skin and helps to support and maintain our natural production of collagen. Collagen is responsible for skin elasticity, moisture, and structure. These berries also contain copper, which is responsible for maintaining normal pigmentation of our skin, therefore helping to prevent skin hyperpigmentation.
Activated coconut shell charcoal is a highly porous, negatively charged powder that attracts and adsorbs positively charged toxins such as heavy metals. Brushing with this charcoal will help whiten teeth and enhance dental health by balancing oral pH levels and adsorbing cavity-causing plaque.
Apricot kernel oil has properties similar to almond oil, though it is a bit lighter in weight, texture, and colour and is odourless. This oil is excellent for softening the skin around the throat and wonderful for mature skin due to its skin tightening ability and slight astringent quality.
Arrowroot helps penetrate the upper levels of the skin so may help moisturisers to penetrate the skin better. A lovely, soft powder also used to make body powders silkier and smoother with similar uses to corn flour, in that it acts like a sponge absorbing oil from the skin without drying it out. Has great moisture absorbing properties and softens the skin.
Avocado oil is rich and conditioning, full of vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E and potassium. Takes a bit longer to penetrate the top layer of the skin, so is excellent for after bath massage oils and especially helpful for dry dull skin. Leaves a protective barrier to help prevent moisture evaporation.
Basil essential oil (sweet) has a spicy sweet invigorating scent which stimulates the mind and body alike. May help ease headaches, circulatory problems, colds and coughs, flu, muscle pain and stiffness, rheumatism, diabetes and fatigue. Beeswax -Tasmanian leatherwood straight from our pristine wilderness area in the south west of Tasmania, this wonderfully smelling beeswax is the natural secretion of bees which helps to protect the skin. It is an emollient, which means it helps to keep your skin soft and a humectant, which helps to keep the skin moist. It is very gentle.
Benzoin essential oil has a warm sweet aroma, with strong notes of vanilla which is a staple in the perfume industry. It has a deeply relaxing effect and may act as a sedative. Can also be used to help with depression, emotional upset and nervousness. Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
Bergamot essential oil has a citrus fragrance that refreshes, balances and is said to help ease anxiety, nervous tension and depression. It is also an antiseptic and a deodorant. Not suitable for children under 2 years of age.
Black Pepper essential oil has a peppercorn like aroma. Crisp and fresh. It is said to increase stamina and alertness, is a natural pain killer and a circulatory system stimulant. Can be an irritant for sensitive skins. If you are pregnant speak to your doctor before using, before sleeping or on children under 6.
Bicarbonate of soda is an odourless and alkaline powder with skin soothing and softening properties. It deodorises and softens bath water and helps relieve the pain of bee stings and the itch from rashes.
Cacao is considered great for the skin because it is full of antioxidants, giving your skin an extra boost of protection. It rejuvenates dull skin, softens skin and leaves it smooth and glowing. Suitable for all skin types, especially sun damaged and mature skin.
Cajeput essential oil is a close relative to tea tree. Has a camphor like fruity aroma which is fresh and uplifting and great for treating colds and the flu. May cause irritation for some sensitive skin and is not suitable for children under 6.
Calendula petals are known for their calming and anti-inflammation and skin healing properties. Slightly astringent and antiseptic.
Carrot Seed essential oil aids in restoring elasticity to the skin, has a rejuvenating effect, assisting with cell regeneration, helps tone aging skin and is excellent for all skin types. Warm, woody and earthy scent. If you are pregnant or epileptic, speak to your doctor before using.
Castor oil is high in omega 9 fatty acids. Full of vitamin E so is good for softening wrinkles and lips, dry heels, and patches of eczema and psoriasis. When applied to nails it provides a protective shield against hot water and dry winter air.
Cedarwood Himalayan essential oil is very calming and may help ease moderate acne, fungal infections, dermatitis, eczema, and greasy skin. Also helpful if you are suffering from rheumatism or arthritis, urinary infection, cystitis, or fluid retention. It helps to relieve tension and stress, fight respiratory conditions, and assist with circulation. Test first if you have sensitive skin. If you are pregnant, speak to your doctor before using. Keep out of reach from children and pets. This oil has a woody, warm, rather balsamic scent with a herbaceous, honeyed note.

Chamomile - German, flowers and essential oil is suitable for sensitive and inflamed skin including eczema, dry and normal skin. It may also help with sprains and strains and arthritis. Has a nice floral scent.
Chamomile - Roman essential oil (anthemis nobilis - chamaemelum nobile) is suitable for all skin types especially sensitive skin. Calming and anti-spasmodic properties help to relax the mind and relieve anxiety. Combined with its mood boosting qualities, it also has antispasmodic abilities which help ease menstrual cramps, headaches and back pain – great if you have PMS. This versatile oil can also assist with digestive problems and skin and inflammatory conditions. It has a sweet, apple like floral scent. Safe in small amounts for babies.
Cinnamon leaf essential oil is rich in antioxidants, has anti-aging and anti- acne benefits, antiseptic and antibacterial properties with a warming effect. Improves collagen production of the skin cells which can help reduce the signs of aging. It can be a skin irritate for sensitive skin. If you are pregnant or epileptic, speak to your doctor before using. People with haemophilia, prostate cancer, kidney or liver disease should not use this oil. Citronella essential oil is great for repelling mosquitoes and other bothersome bugs. It may stimulate menstrual flow so please check with your doctor if you are pregnant, have oestrogen dependent cancer, or on children under 6 years of age.
Clays -
Bentonite - Australian. A fine clay with a high content of minerals which are wonderful for skin pampering and may help to improve skin elasticity and cell renewal for supple, younger looking skin.
Fullers Earth. An off-white clay, popular for oily and congested skin. Very drying and oil absorbing. Rich in minerals like magnesium, calcium and quartz. It is a particularly effective cleanser which can help improve your complexion and keep your skin feeling fresh and invigorated.
Ivory, Australian. Soft and silky for sensitive skin.
Ochre, French. A natural clay earth pigment which is a mixture of ferric oxide and varying amounts of clay and sand. It ranges in colour from yellow to deep orange or brown.
Olive Green, Australian. Best for detoxification and acne prone and oily skin. Acts as an aid for repairing scars.
Pink, Australian. Ideal for all skin types. It is rich in Silica, which may help to improve skin elasticity and cell renewal for supple, refreshed younger looking skin. It delivers moisture and energy to tired, dull complexions and helps to soothe inflammation while lightly exfoliating skin.
Red, Australian. High in iron oxide and helpful for broken capillaries and bags under the eyes. Good for muscle toning.
White, Australian. Ideal for sensitive or irritated skin. Calming, cooling and softens the skin.
Clove bud essential oil Spicy, warming, stimulating and broadly antiseptic. When diluted in a base oil can be used on sore muscles and joints. If you are pregnant or epileptic, speak to your doctor before using.
Cocoa butter melts on contact with the skin and has a delicate chocolate aroma. It is an antioxidant-rich emollient derived from the cocoa bean. Soothing and high in vitamin E, it helps reduce the formation of stretch marks and scars keeping the skin soft and supple.
Coconut flour is a high protein rich flour and used as a substitute for cow's milk.
Coconut oil is easily absorbed into the skin. Bursting full of antioxidants, vitamins E and K and minerals. Our organic virgin coconut oil is creamy in texture and has a subtle coconut aroma. It is of superior quality and consists of mainly short and medium chain fatty acids, is raw, cold-pressed, unrefined and chemical-free. It’s gluten free, vegan and vegetarian friendly!
Fractionated coconut oil is liquid at room temperature. It is an absorbent and light carrier oil that will leave skin feeling smooth and soft, without feeling greasy or clogging pores, and is also a great treatment for dry or dull hair. It is odourless which makes it wonderful for essential oil dilution and distribution without altering the scent.
Comfrey leaves, can be used to heal wounds, burns, bruises, ulcers, dry irritated skin conditions and will help prevent scars. It is useful in any kind of inflammatory swelling and reduces inflammation associated with sprains and broken bones.
Coffee oil is obtained by a special process of cold processing roasted coffee beans, coffee oil is used primarily for its characteristic fragrance. Consisting mostly of polyunsaturated linoleic acid with a high content of palmitic acid. Like the beverage itself, you'll find it uplifting and energising. It promotes mental alertness and a warm sense of wellbeing.
Corn flour acts like a sponge absorbing oil from the skin without drying it out. Contains vitamins, minerals and amino acids that may help boost collagen, prevent signs of the skin ageing, keeping the skin healthy, vibrant and smooth.
Cosmetic seaweed powder has been shown to contain rich bioactive compounds, omega-3 fatty acids, essential amino acids, and vitamins A, B, C, and E, so is calming with moisturising benefits and may also help with skin toning.

Salts - Australian, Epsom and Himalayan are rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids of the sea. Great for healthy looking skin, healing imperfections and increased circulation. Himalayan Salt contains 84 of the 92 elements naturally occurring in Mother Earth. This is significantly more mineral content than the 54 elements derived from ordinary sea-salt. Sunflower oil - organic is easily absorbed and high in vitamins E and K, lecithin, and oleic fatty acid. High in essential fatty acids, and lecithin. Deeply moisturising for all skin types, except oily. Perfect for dry, parched and mature skin.
Sugar exfoliates the skin but does not dry it like salt may. it contains glycolic acids which means it exfoliates on a chemical level as well as by abrasion.
